Her journey through cellular biology, ancient wisdom, and personal transformation became the foundation for a new kind of wellness rooted in mitochondria and meaning.

Ka'thera Mishda is the creative soul expression behind Kathy Shattler's creations for mind, body, and soul. Kathy received her Master of Science degree in Human Nutrition with a minor in Adult Education. She has also studied comparative religion, psychology, consciousness, the esoteric sciences, and mysticism for over 40 years.

Kathy Shattler, MS, RDN, is a nationally credentialled registered dietitian with over a decade of experience in clinical nutrition, integrative protocols, and public health education. She has served in both academic and applied settings, with a special focus on metabolic health, nutrient synergy, and chronic disease intervention. Kathy currently holds the distinction of being an accredited national program reviewer for the Academy’s Integrative Nutrition Curriculum. Over the course of her career, she has authored or edited more than 2,000 published works in the fields of nutrition science, functional health, and consumer education.

Her work blends deep field experience with evolving frameworks of care, incorporating evidence-based methods with a commitment to ethical client empowerment. Known for her clarity, compassion, and precision, Kathy maintains a referral-based private practice while continuing to consult on curriculum, supplement formulation, and editorial standards in functional nutrition.

My professional background is rooted in clinical and public health nutrition, where I’ve spent over a decade writing, editing, and translating science into clear, actionable guidance. I began with a focus on medical nutrition therapy and evidence-based education — but over time, it became clear that nutrition alone was never the full story.
Many of the challenges my clients face — chronic fatigue, burnout, gut issues, mood instability — aren’t just biological. They’re also shaped by stress, disconnection, loss of rhythm, and the growing strain of living in an over-mechanized world.
That realization inspired me to create a wellness space that bridges the science of functional nutrition with the deeper needs of the whole person — mind, body, and environment.
My current approach draws from lifestyle medicine, functional protocols, and guided care models that respect psychological well-being and spiritual coherence. I work with people not just to resolve symptoms but to restore vitality, reconnect with their bodies' own intelligence, and build sustainable rhythms of care.
