If blood levels are under 20 ng/ml, take 10,000 IU 5 days per week for 6 weeks and then retest. Goal is to get vitamin D levels up to 50 ng/ml (or at least above 30 ng/ml, which is the cut-off for normal values). Deficiency is anything under 20 ng/ml.
Recommended Dietary Intake is about 400-800 IU per day or 10-20 mcg, although some studies recommend a higher level of 1,000-4,000 IU per day (25-100 mcg)

Citicoline contains the patented compound Cognizen which promotes mental energy and focus.
Research suggests that Cognizen reduces age related decreases in mental functioning enhancing neuroprotection and neuroregenerative properties. Research also suggests Citicoline may help to mitigate age-related cognitive decline by increasing energy reserves and utilization.
A review of citicoline supplementation with older subjects found improvements in a wide range of cognitive and behavioral measures, including memory, attention, behavior, reaction time, relational life, independence and cooperation.
Research suggests citicoline may be neuroprotective in stroke.
A recent 2020 study showed a decrease in Alzheimer Disease symptoms when citicoline was combined with cholinesterase inhibitors in the treatment of the symptoms of this disease. Improvement in behavior, cognition and mood was noted with the combined treatment in a retrospective observational trial compared to treating with donepezil alone.
